The Power of Powder

For those of you who want to stretch a good blow-out, but fear that your hair may start to look oily should try Bumble and Bumble's hair powders. Spray it on dry hair and it will soak up the oil. I tried this product yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use!

My New Favorite Thing

I got this very cute top at Anthropologie over the weekend. I LOVE it! It looks super cute with jeans (or the cute Joe's Jeans denim shorts I got as well), and the color makes me smile.

This will be the perfect thing to pack for our upcoming trip to Cape Cod in a few weeks. It's linen so it will be nice and breezy, as well as easy to pack.

Anthropologie has a great selection of dresses and tops right now. I advise everyone to check it out!

Denim Dreams

As you know, I am a denim lover. A few weeks ago I posted about Joe's Jeans. The "provocateur" style comes in petite so they don't have to be shortened. Additionally, the higher knee break means that they flare in the right spot. They come in two washes - a very dark dressy wash and a lighter, more casual wash. Here's a photo of the darker wash - very cute! I wore mine this weekend and they fit perfectly.

Another cute jean on the racks is the Seven For All Mankind "Ginger" wide leg jean. These are also dark, but have a wide leg - more like a trouser jean. I saw these on this weekend, and they are very cute. Especially with a heel! I can't wait to wear these!

We Did It!

For all of my loyal readers (all three of you) I am sorry the posts have been few and far between. You know how it gets with kids and work and life, right! So, I hope I get a free pass on this one.

Anyway, last weekend my friend Marti and I participated in the Avon 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer in Denver. It was truly an amazing experience. We had a fabulous time, and we walked our butts off (literally!). I encourage everyone who has the opportunity to take part in the 2-day walk. Here we are during lunch on the first day of the walk. I am sporting my "every three minutes ribbon" which serves as a reminder that every three minutes someone is diagnosed with breast cancer. They were presented to walkers every three minutes during the walk. Thank you to everyone for supporting our walk, and to Marti for being the best walking buddy a girl could have!
